Right in the beginning 1996, Gregor Zahnweh shows his impulse to sick beats and capable samples not only for Hip Hop, but although for electronic music, which makes it more easy for him to get started. After covering with the essential equipment, daily practise was the next step.

Countless Gigs on private events offered him the possivility to improve his technique and taste for music. Forced by a lot of formative incidents he finally decided to focus on the music genres Hip Hop and Rap. Since 1999 he is known as DJ Grec Nice. What’s confusing people in the beginnig, turns to surface, this artist isn’t the Oldschool Rapper, nevertheless he was able to raise his prestige within this urban environment. Bookings and performances followed in the area of southern Bavaria.

The breakthrough succeed in 2003, where DJ Grec Nice was allowed to perform at an club called Eiskeller, which is located in Aschau (Germany). Side by side with the former Resident Rob T, he starts to entertain every Saturday. In spring 2005, the DJ Partner decided to retire. So the time has come for Dj Grec Nice to assume Saturdays’ business. Beside the classic genres, DJ Grec Nice although started to add new types of music in his repertoire. Raggaeton and Miami Bass are only two of numerous styles. He completely got rid of playing finalized mixes, he focused on live mixing and entertaining the audience with his special way of mixing and cutting. A like-minded friend he found in the year of 2006 in DJ Man At Arms, who played since then with DJ Grec Nice at his residence Club Eiskeller. Since then, he made his way through german-speaking countries. From Munich over Innsbruck to Saint Gall, he offers his unique taste of hip hop music.

Not enough, for more than one year, DJ Grec Nice is now although known as VDJ Grec Nice. That means, he’s playing not only music, but music videos. That brandnew technique is not very popular these days, but will be very soon!
